About Sandstone

Sandstone products are formed from sedimentary rock over hundreds and thousands of years at the bottom of oceans, beaches and within our riverbeds.  The cementing material determines the colours of natural sandstone, the colours being very rich in texture.
Stonehub stock a comprehensive range of sandstone in our luxurious standard honed finish.  Our stock sandstone products include square and rectangular paving, square edge & rebated square edge coping along with more traditional bullnose coping.
At Stonehub we offer honed finish sandstone in a wide range of standard colours:

• Arctic – very popular in current modern, clean minimalist landscape design, this hard sandstone comes in a rare pure white colour with the occasional slightly darker banding to add character.
• Simpson – the classic sandstone look of beige tones interpersed with subtle banding
• Kimberley – like Simpson in toning but with very distinct dark banding and patterns to be more of an eye grabber and to stand out in a landscape.  Many customers say that each piece looks like an individual work of art!

Our sandstone pavers are equally at home as cladding, often being used for this purpose. Of course like our other stone products we can customise to your specific requirements.
Stone Hub’s sandstone is hard wearing and ages well, and will not fade or discolour.  It is suited to both formal elegant landscapes as well as more relaxed natural surrounds.
